Youngstown Level

The 38th Annual Youngstown Level Regatta was held July 23rd-24th in Buffalo, NY with 160 boats competing in 23 divisions. The largest fleet to compete was the Beneteau First 36.7’s with 22 boats, Gary Tisdale finished in first place. 6 Beneteau First 40.7’s competed with Kiki Werner Mullet taking first place and 9 Beneteau First 10R’s competed with Ian Struther’s Plika and Rob Butler’s Zoom both finishing with 11 points.

LYRA(Lake Yacht Racing Association)

The 127th LYRA Regatta took place July 29-31 at the Port Credit Yacht Club. Over 75 boats participated in this annual regatta which moves around the Great Lakes every year. It allows for both Canadian and American boats to race one another and provides great comraderie among the sailors, especially this year with over 25 yacht clubs in attendance. Congratulations to the winners!
